Day 32: January 26, 2013: Crispy Mustard-Roasted Chicken:
Yum! This may be the best baked chicken I have ever made. Such an interesting recipe, from Foolproof. It’s a mixture of Dijon mustard and white wine that you dip the chicken in. Next, the chicken is coated with panko breadcrumbs, lemon zest. Garlic, and thyme. Only the top side of the chicken is coated. The flavors all work beautifully together and my house smelled great! This is a great to impress guests with. Recipe explains you can make in advance and refrigerate until you need to bake. When Ina says it’s the moist and crispy chicken every time, she is so right. Can’t wait to make this one again. A+!
